Did you know that 40% of home visitors will inspect the contents of YOUR medicine cabinet? Lock away any prescription medicine in a secure location (away from the traffic of guests). Nationally, The Partnership at Drugfree.org has found teens who have misused or abused a prescription (Rx) drug has increased 33% over the past five years.

Medications flushed down the toilet may contaminate our lakes, streams groundwater causing harm to humans, wildlife and vegetation. Medications thrown in the trash can cause poisoning by accidental ingestion by young children, pets and even wildlife.

To properly dispose of prescription medications, all you need to do is stop by the Lodi Police Station and drop your medications in the Prescription Drug Drop Box in the lobby.

  • The Prescription Drug Drop Box is located in the lobby of the Lodi Police Station (142 S. Main Street, Lodi, WI 53555)

  • Office Hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Fentanyl Awareness

Did you know that counterfeit pills often contain fentanyl and are more lethal than ever before? According to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), “Criminal drug networks are mass-producing fake pills and falsely marketing them as legitimate prescription pills to deceive the American public. Fake pills are easy to purchase, widely available, often contain fentanyl or methamphetamine, and can be deadly.”
