We would like to re-visit an article by Steven Ricks, LCAT's Coalition Chair, from earlier this year. The article does a great job of explaining why the heroin problem in this community (and in mostly all communities) does not start with heroin.
It goes in depth to explain WHY...why heroin is so prevalent, why kids use alcohol and other drugs, and WHY every person in this community has the potential to impact youth in our community in a positive way.
